“Are you like me? Killer with your main course, but trailing by 6 point in the 4th quarter with your side dishes. Well, no longer. Score a Touchdown with these Auburn Touchdown Bourbon Baked Beans. Tie up that score late and win it with the extra point of a compliment from all your guests.”

Ingredients

½ lb. Jimmy Dean® Hot bulk sausage
3 cans (16 ounces each) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
½ medium red onion, diced
1 jar (18 ounces) Sweet Baby Ray’s® Vidalia Onion B-B-Q Sauce*
1 heaping tablespoon Dijon Mustard
¼ cup Bourbon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350⁰. Cook sausage in medium frying pan and break up into crumbles. Drain fat then combine with remaining ingredient in a large bowl. Put mixture into a 9″ x 13″ casserole dish, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes or until it bubbles.

*Other sauces can be substituted, but the sweetness of this particular sauce is key to the flavor.
