Low-Cal Tuna Q

Recipe by Kyle Kessler (although I didn’t create it)

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 2 minutes (depending on what wattage your Microwave is)
Total time: 7 minutes
Servings: 1 ½ pound serving


2 cans of chunk light tuna in water
4 tbsp. of your favorite Bar-B-Que sauce


     This may be the easiest Bar-B-Que recipe around. Start by squeezing all of the water out of both cans of tuna. I mean really squeeze the water out then dump it into a microwave safe bowl…the tuna should be dry and flaky. Add the Bar-B-Que sauce mix it in really good. Pop the bowl in the microwave and nuke it for two minutes. Take it out stir it up and add pickles. This whole serving (½ pound) including dill pickles slices is only 305 calories.

I know this recipe is really short, but it really easy to do and it’s good. Enjoy.
